Research Institute

The research activities of the Faculty of Health Sciences, coordinated through the Institute for Research at the University of Maribor, Faculty of Health Sciences (UM FHS), are distinguished by the high quality of both its researchers and their work. This excellence is most evident in the faculty’s success in securing and implementing international, bilateral, and national projects across all fields of health sciences.

The Institute for Research at UM FHS is responsible for:

• Organizing and carrying out scientific research activities
• Contributing to the development of research programmes at UM FHS
• Supporting the education and training of future researchers
• Organizing events that present and promote research activities to both staff and students
• Actively involving students in scientific research projects
• Strengthening cooperation with national and international research institutions and organizations
• Facilitating the transfer of research findings into practice
