Short description

The first cycle professional study programme Nursing Care enables students to acquire knowledge about the treatment of patients by studying theoretical and methodological concepts, the ability to transfer and apply theoretical knowledge in practice and solve professional, work and other problems, especially by finding new sources of knowledge and scientific methods, developing the ability to communicate in the profession and between professions, professional and scientific criticism and responsibility, initiative and independence in decision-making and leadership of the nursing team. The study programme is comparable with the European directives for the regulated profession (77/452, 77/453, 2005/36 / EC and 2013/55 / ​​EU) and with the Bologna Declaration, which enables the employment of graduates in all member states of the European Union.

We give students an excellent starting point in the form of competencies and professional values, on the basis of which, after completing their studies, they are skilled as competent and caring nursing staff in all areas of nursing. The emphasis is mainly on a professional attitude towards work, general education, independent thinking, the ability to make quick and correct decisions, while not forgetting the heart culture and sensitive and ethical attitude towards both - patients and colleagues in the nursing and health care team. Graduates are qualified to independently perform the profession at the primary, secondary and tertiary level of health care.
