On May 8, 2024, the University of Maribor, Faculty of Health Sciences, with the help of students and employees of UM FZV, as well as invited experts from various institutions related to healthcare and rescue, will conduct a free training in basic resuscitation procedures. The faculty has defibrillators (AEDs) installed inside and on the facade of the building, which, if used correctly and on time, ensure safety and greater chances of survival in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest. Through education, we want to ensure greater safety for students, pupils, employees of the University of Maribor, and residents of the local community. This year, there will also be TPO education with the help of gamification and virtual reality.
In cooporation with the University Clinical Centre Maribor, the Slovenian Army, the Voluntary Firefighters Association Rače, The Medical Centre of Dr. Adolf Drolc Maribor, the Mountaion Rescue Service Maribor, and the Secondary School of Health and Cosmetics Maribor:

Applications and additional information
Free education is intended for elementary school students, students, UM employees and nearby residents of the local community, as well as the general public. All participants will receive certificates of participation. You can apply for training with an e-application form.
