Researchers from the University of Maribor are ranked among the top 2 percent of scientists in the world according to Stanford's ranking. Stanford University published a list of the top 2% of scientists in the world, which included in its study 10,020,500 authors' works published in international periodicals. Scientists are classified into 22 scientific fields and 176 subfields.
Assoc Prof Sabina Fijan, PhD, from the Faculty of Health Sciences, belongs to the 2% of most cited scientists in her field, according to the ranking of Stanford University.
