We are very proud that Assoc Prof Sabina Fijan, PhD, became a review editor at Frontiers in Microbiology. Frontiers in Microbiology is a leading journal in the microbiology field with an impact factor of 5,640 (JCR 2020) and covers peer-reviewed research across the full spectrum of microbiology.
Sabina is the editor of reviews for the field of food microbiology, which focuses on a wide range of previous research on microbes that have beneficial as well as detrimental effects on food safety and quality. Research in this area therefore represents an important contribution to public health care.
