Usposabljanje študentov v okviru projekta PCCurric

OSEM študentov zdravstvene nege UM FZV vabimo k prijavi na 5-dnevno BREZPLAČNO usposabljanje v okviru projekta Person-centredness in Healthcare Curricula (PCCurric).

Usposabljanje bo potekalo na Queen Margaret University (UK) v angleškem jeziku med 16. in 20. majem 2022, vse stroške krije fakulteta. V času usposabljanja ste opravičeni študijskih obveznosti.

Datumi potovanja:

- odhod iz Slovenije 15. maj 2022 in

- prihod v Slovenijo 21. maj 2022.

Sodelujoča v programu usposabljanja in spremljevalca UM FZV študentov bosta izr. prof. dr. Mateja Lorber in asist. Sergej Kmetec.

 

Pogoji za sodelovanje in kriteriji za izbor sodelujočih študentov:

- potrdilo v vpisu na študijski program 1. stopnje Zdravstvena nega ali študijski program 2. stopnje Zdravstvena nega UM FZV;

- znanje angleškega jezika (zadostuje potrdilo pridobljeno na maturi ali opravljen izpit na FZV);

- digitalno potrdilo o cepljenju proti COVID-19;

- motivacijsko pismo.

 

Obveznosti udeležencev:

- udeležba na vseh predvidenih obveznostih po urniku;

- pooblastilo projektnega konzorcija, da objavi fotografije iz usposabljanja;

- sodelovanje z organizatorji programa in urejanje celotne dokumentacije.

 

Ocenjevalna komisija:

Ocenjevalno komisijo bodo sestavljali dva člana projektne skupine PCCurric na UM FZV in Erasmus koordinatorica UM FZV. Ocenjevalna komisija bo analizirala prejete prijave in objavila dokončen seznam uspešnih prijaviteljev. Sklep bo poslan osebno po elektronski pošti vsem prijavljenim študentom. Vodja projekta lahko izda morebitna dopolnilna pravila, ki so potrebna za nemoten potek postopka, in ima pooblastilo za razlago teh pravil, kadar se pojavijo dvomi o vsebini ali pomenu teh predpisov.

Prijava na usposabljanje je mogoča preko prijavnice, ki jo najdete tukaj do vključno 24. 3. 2022 do konca delovnega dne. Prijavnico lahko:

- pošljete na naslov Univerza v Mariboru Fakulteta za zdravstvene vede, Žitna ulica 15, 2000 Maribor;

- oddate v tajništvu fakultete;

Developing Facilitators of a person-centred healthcare curriculum: 5-day school

What is the background to the school? 

In 2019, six partners from UK, Ireland, The Netherlands, Norway and Slovenia began work on an Erasmus+ funded project to develop a curriculum framework that could support higher education and healthcare organisations in designing, delivering and evaluating the development of future person-centred healthcare practitioners. To ensure international relevance, the project adopted an evolutionary process engaging multiple stakeholders from across each partner country at each stage. The aim of this school is to equip academic and clinical educators with the knowledge, skills and expertise in creating person-centred learning conditions for future person-centred practitioners.

 

Who should attend the school? This first development school is for those supporting learners (educators) on healthcare education programmes at project partner universities and their partner healthcare organisations. Doctoral candidates engaged in researching, developing and evaluating person-centred cultures within partner universities and healthcare environments are also welcome.What are the Intended learning outcomes?

By the end of the school participants will:

  1. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of concepts, theories and practices underpinning person-centred learning and reflect on what this means for the facilitation of learning by future person-centred practitioners.
  2. Be able to articulate how the curriculum framework methodology can guide the facilitation of learning.
  3. Be prepared for on-going facilitation of person-centred approaches to learning, assessment and feedback, building on and extending existing knowledge and skills.  
  4. Be confident in collaboratively engaging with stakeholders to create and evaluate person-centred learning cultures.
  5. Be reflexive and facilitate reflexivity by others.
  6. Be able to create an ongoing development plan to support person-centred learning and development.

What will the school content include?

The school will have an ‘international flavour’ with contributions from partner organisations.  The content will focus on contemporary policy of person-centred practice and cultures; facilitation of learning; the person-centred curriculum framework with its philosophical principles of transformation, co-construction, relational and pragmatism, as well as theoretical ideas on personhood, person-centredness and human flourishing. Participants will be supported in critically and creatively working with these underpinning principles and theories, as well as exploring the relevance of key concepts such as leadership, facilitation, reflexivity and workplace culture for their own role and practice as educators. To guide (self-)awareness and skill development, each day will be themed, focus on the learning outcomes and aim to answer a key question:

Monday, 16th May 2022: What does person-centredness mean? What is the strategic importance of a ‘person-centred curriculum’? 

Tuesday, 17th May 2022: Which teaching, learning and assessment approaches will help achieve pc curriculum outcomes? What expertise, skills and competence do I need to develop?

Wednesday, 18th May 2022: How can we create the conditions for everyone to flourish in a culture that is underpinned by person-centredness?

Thursday, 19th May 2022: How do we recognise a person-centred curriculum and evaluate the conditions?

Friday, 20th May 2022: How can we demonstrate our contribution to a pc curriculum as well as our own being and becoming a person-centred facilitator?

How much will it cost?

There is no charge to individuals attending via an Erasmus+ project partner.
