On 5 June 2025, the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Maribor (UM FHS) held a ceremonial celebration marking its 32nd anniversary. During the event, awards, commendations, and recognitions were presented to students, employees of UM FHS, and staff from other institutions for their outstanding achievements, contributions, and accomplishments across various fields.

The celebration was attended by the Rector of the University of Maribor, Prof Zdravko Kačič, PhD,  the Vice-Rector Nomi Hrast, Assoc Prof Mateja Lorber,PhD, deans and representatives of UM faculties, the Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Maribor, Davorka Pregl, the award recipients, and their families.
