My Wonderful Experience in Slovenia 

My Erasmus experience at the University of Maribor has been nothing short of incredible. Slovenia welcomed me with open arms, and I quickly discovered the warmth and kindness of the Slovenian people. Throughout my time there, I forged deep connections with both locals and fellow international students, all of whom enriched my journey in profound ways.

Exploring Slovenia's natural wonders was a constant source of awe. From hiking in picturesque landscapes to discovering serene lakes, every adventure was a reminder of Slovenia's rich cultural and environmental diversity.

Academically, my time at the Faculty of Health Sciences (FZV) was fulfilling. I greatly admired my lecturers' dedication and expertise, which inspired and guided me throughout my studies. The friendships I formed with fellow students at FZV were also meaningful, creating a supportive community that made my experience abroad even more memorable.

Professionally, my time in Maribor was equally rewarding. Working in the intensive pediatric ward at UKC was a transformative experience. The professionalism and kindness shown by my colleagues and the entire healthcare team left a lasting impression on me. It was a privilege to contribute to such important work and to learn from dedicated professionals in the field.

Additionally, working in elderly nursing homes was deeply fulfilling. Building relationships with the residents and witnessing the joy in their eyes meant the world to me. These experiences as a nursing student have profoundly shaped my career aspirations, reinforcing my passion for healthcare and solidifying my commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others.

My Erasmus journey in Maribor has been an invaluable chapter in my life. It has broadened my perspective, strengthened my professional goals, and connected me with wonderful people from around the globe. I am immensely grateful for the friendships made, the experiences shared, and the lessons learned during my time in Slovenia.
