The project is implemented within the framework of the Health Protection and Promotion Programmes until 2028, funded by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Slovenia. It focuses on the comprehensive improvement of students’ physical and mental health, as they often face stress, time pressure, and challenges in maintaining a healthy lifestyle during their studies.
The programme includes five key thematic areas: nutrition, mental health, sleep, physical activity, and the prevention of risky behaviours related to alcohol and tobacco use. Activities encompass preventive workshops, communication campaigns, digital content, and interactive events, complemented by elements of individualized approaches and peer support. These activities are carried out both in academic environments and through digital platforms, in cooperation with various professional organizations.
The project will be implemented at the national level and will reach a wide population of students, primarily through university centres and partner organizations. Through a comprehensive approach, it contributes to greater accessibility of preventive content and supports the achievement of key public health objectives in the field of youth health.
