DOCTORAL DISSERTATION TOPIC APPLICATION: 

The doctoral student submits the doctoral dissertation topic application with attachments to  the  competent  student  affairs  office in printed and electronic form (sent to drzn.fzv@um.si in PDF format or sent on a USB stick).

The disposition of the doctoral dissertation must be written in accordance with the guidelines for the preparation of the disposition of the doctoral dissertation (Annex D).   

 

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS AND THE SUBMISSION OF THE DOCTORAL DISSERTATION

Within no more than 4 years from the date on which the doctoral dissertation topic was approved by the UM Senate, the doctoral student shall submit the final version of the doctoral dissertation Until the Statement in Annex 6 is signed by the supervisor, the submission of the doctoral dissertation shall not be possible and the procedure shall not continue.   

Prior to submitting the doctoral dissertation, the doctoral student shall have at least one published work derived from the doctoral dissertation for which he is the first author. The published work shall be considered relevant if it is a scientific article published in a journal with an impact factor (JCR) and classified in the upper-three quarters according to the value of the impact factor, or a patent with complete testing. A confirmation from the SCI, SSCI, or AHCI journals that the article has been approved for publication or that it has been included on the list of articles pending for publication with an assigned DOI shall also be considered relevant.

The doctoral student submits the doctoral dissertation together with:

The student submits the required number of spiral bound copies of the doctoral dissertation. The required number copies is a copy for each committee member for preliminary examination of the doctoral dissertation or at least 4 spiral bound copies of the doctoral dissertation.
