The project investigates whether the use of probiotics can influence recovery outcomes and reduce complications following surgeries for degenerative spinal disorders. The aim of the research is to contribute to a better understanding of the connection between the gut microbiota and the success of surgical treatments. As part of the project, blood analyses will be conducted before and after the intake of probiotics, and the results will be compared with selected clinical indicators of recovery.
