Project description:
Wastewater management and drinking water treatment are two of the priority areas of Slovenia’s Smart Specialisation Strategy for sustainable development. However, the connection between wastewater treatment and adequate drinking water supply is often overlooked. Due to the increasing impact of climate change, it is essential to educate students, professionals, and the wider public, which can be effectively achieved through the use of new technologies.
Within the project, digital interactive learning materials were developed to raise awareness among users about the environmental determinants of health, specifically the importance and processes of wastewater management as well as the proper treatment and monitoring of drinking water.
