Project description:

The INE-CSC project aims to establish a European implementation network dedicated to improving care for cancer survivors, with a strong focus on long-term quality of life, holistic rehabilitation, and social reintegration. As the number of cancer survivors continues to grow, there is an increasing need for coordinated approaches that address their physical, psychological, social, and occupational challenges beyond active treatment.

This project brings together healthcare providers, researchers, policymakers, patient organizations, and civil society to develop evidence-based standards, guidelines, and innovative models of survivorship care. The key objectives include enhancing access to comprehensive support services, integrating research findings into clinical practice, strengthening health system capacity, and promoting equity in survivorship care across Europe.

INE-CSC will foster the exchange of best practices, support the development of multidisciplinary interventions, and implement digital tools for monitoring and empowering cancer survivors. The ultimate goal is to create sustainable and effective care models that improve health outcomes, quality of life, and societal participation for individuals living beyond cancer.
