Maribor is the second big city in Slovenia. This city is a very safe area. No one steals a phone, money, or other things in the street.

The city has good transport like buses and taxis. Also, the price is cheaper than the other european countries that I have visited.

In Maribor, most of the students study very hard just only at the end of the semester, because they enjoy their student life too much. Between same career's students, they go out together and sometimes they get together for a small party. At the period of tests, people concentrate only on exams and try to get a good score.

In Maribor, the prices of food, products, and other things are almost the same or less than the other European countries. Although I don't have any information about the room and house's price, you can find cheap dorms also near the city center. There are many types of food in Maribor, Turkish, Japanese, Chinese, Italian and so on. Many restaurants also accept student food coupons, which costs very low between 0.50 - 4.00 euros. My favorite dish is 'tavuk kebab'. It's a kind of chicken, in Istanbul Restaurant. You can enjoy all meals.

If you like nature, I'll recommend you in the first place "Piramida" where many people visit and you can see the entire city from top of the hill. In the city center, there is a cathedral that is so nice. On the riverside, you can walk peacefully and enjoy the beauty of the area. If you are a fan of night activities, you can find good clubs and discos to spend time with your friends. Many people enjoy the nightlife of Maribor.

If you want to study or travel in Slovenia, don't hesitate. You can enjoy the life of Maribor and you can experience good things. Slovenia is very safe area for foreigners. I really recommend to you to visit Slovenia especially in spring and summer!
