Matilde Marques and Beatriz Toco from Lisbon, Portugal

The Erasmus experience for us was a big surprise. For the first time, we traveled outside Portugal with the aim of doing an internship in Maribor and living independently for two months.

We met very welcoming and friendly people and made several friendships, both with Slovenian citizens and with groups of Portuguese people we met here.

We had the opportunity to travel around Slovenia as well as to neighboring countries such as Austria and Croatia.

The moments we experienced and the people we met will always remain in our memory, and we hope to return to Slovenia one day to visit all the places we didn’t have the chance to see.
