Maribor came as the first choice in the decision process before I came here. Before coming here, I didn’t know anything about Maribor and Slovenia. I realized that was an excellent opportunity for me due to the position of Slovenia in Europe. You can visit many different countries easily. I like Maribor’s mood because I’m not too fond of crowded metropolises. Also, Maribor is veritably similar when compared to my birthplace Ordu. People here are kind; nature extraordinary. Besides that, there are many things to do in Maribor, like hiking, skiing, partying, and visiting coffee shops.
My decision was solidified when the professors (Prof. Jadranka STRICEVIĆ, Ph.D., Prof. Suzana KRALJIČ, Ph.D., and Prof. Jana GORJUP, Ph.D.) from UM FHS came to my university. They told us about the faculty and their City. After that, I decided to go to Maribor.
I’m pleased about my decision to come here.
Coming to Erasmus in Maribor was one of the best decisions I have ever made, and I will never forget this experience in my entire life.
