14th International Scientific Conference

The Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Maribor is delighted to host the 14th International Scientific Conference on Research and Education in Nursing, which will be held on June 11, 2026, in Maribor. This international event will bring together researchers, academics, healthcare professionals, and students from Slovenia and abroad to share research outcomes, professional experiences, and innovative practices in nursing and health sciences.

The conference will address contemporary challenges and emerging trends in education, research, and professional practice, highlighting approaches that support the ongoing development of nursing and health sciences. Its primary aim is to facilitate the exchange of scientific knowledge, research evidence, and best practices, while strengthening collaboration and networking among researchers, higher education institutions, and healthcare professionals. Through this platform, the conference seeks to further promote and advance nursing and health sciences at both national and international levels.

We invite you to submit abstracts of your research contributions or presentations of best practices.

• March 1^st, 2026: Title and Author/Co-author Submission Deadline

General information:

• Abstracts can be submitted in English or Slovenian, but must be presented in English language.
• We are requesting abstracts and not full papers; they should be structured using IMRAD.
•  All abstracts will be subject to blind peer review and published in the Conference Proceedings.
• All authors will receive a Certificate of Participation.

Fee payment for the conference:

• Active participants 150,00 EUR including VAT
• Passive participants 180,00 EUR including VAT
• Other students (passive participants) 50,00 EUR including VAT
• Staff and retired staff, students of the University of Maribor Faculty of Health Sciences are exempt from the fee payments.
